Pashiz (Bronze, 20 mm, 2.81 g, 12 h), citing Udayy ibn Arta', governor of al-Basra under the caliph 'Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz, without mint, probably al-Basra, circa AH 100-101 = AD 718-720. Sasanian style bust to right; behind head, presumably 'bism Allah' ('in the name of Allah' in Arabiv); before head, unknown word in Pahlawi. Rev.
